Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy was designed to explain the way we manage (collect, store, and use) the personal information our users offer to us. Taking into account that the privacy laws are free to change, we have the right to update this Policy. We may, but we are not obliged to, inform the users about the modifications. Thus, it is your (as users) duty to check on a regular basis the given Privacy Policy. You automatically accept the terms of this Privacy Policy by signing up for any services offered by LogWork (hereafter “LogWork”, “Service”, “us”, “our” or “we”). Therefore, this Privacy Policy is a legal agreement that contains clauses and provisions which you consent to comply with. The two parties are you, as the user of the services provided, and LogWork.
Data Collection and Use
We collect several distinct types of information for various purposes in order to provide our Service to you and improve it.
Types of Data Collected
Personal Data
Specific personal identifiable data can be demanded when you are using our Service. The provided data can facilitate the process of contacting or identifying you (“Personal Data”). Personal identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:
- Cookies and Usage Data
Browser Extension Privacy
We do not use our browser extension (e.g. Chrome extension: Free Time Tracking) for information collection of your browsing activities.
While you are using our extension for time tracking needs on the currently active tab, our extension can get only the time tracking note and source domain name to identify which time button is running.
Thus, if the extension detects that you are viewing the tab with an active time tracking button, it will call our server API for getting detailed information about the running time entry button. From our API servers, we receive information containing the running time entry, latest time entries, and time entries details. We do not send any source code of your currently active tab since our API needs just the time note and URL of the active tab to ensure proper functionality of the time tracking button.
We take your privacy EXTREMELY seriously. We embed the time tracking button only on the website which you have allowed within the extension settings panel. If you want, you can disable all the domains in order to make them available for embedding the time tracking button. You can track your time only through the extension pop-up window.
Usage Data
We are collecting the Usage Data only while you are browsing our website logwork.com. This fact can reflect how the Service is accessed and used (“Usage Data”). The Usage Data may contain information such as your computer Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.
